On the road from Lochbuie to Laggan near the gate carved into the rock face:
'D MacLaine of Lochbuy fecit MDCCLX'
Above the door opposite the archway into the Lochbuie House farm square:
'After leaving Moy Castle the Lochbuie family resided in this house from 1752 to 1789 and it was in this house that Dr. Johnson and Mr. Boswell were entertained in 1773 by John MacLaine XVII chief of Lochbuie.'

Jubilee Monument

'Erected by Lochuie and his Highlanders to Commemorate the Coronation of their Majesties King Edward the VII and Queen Alexandra. God Save the King and Queen. 29th August 1902'

Half way along Loch Uisg road and 20m into the rhododendrons:
' In memory of Donald MacLaine of Lochbuy who died 18th Oct. 1863 aged 46 years.
This monument is erected by his tenants, servants and a few friends in memory of their respect for him. A considerate landlord and master and useful country gentleman.
A fair and upright magistrate as well as their sympathy with his bereaved family so early deprived of his wise counsel and Christian example. 1864'
